Pastor Glenton D. Queen
Lead Pastor
Pastor Glenton Queen received his Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ at the age of 17. He had always loved going to church. However, he was in the church but the church was not in him. He watched his mother (the late Doris Boston) and his great uncle (Rev. Richard Ball) and wanted what they had—the realness of the Lord. He always heard his uncle talk about how you must be born again and how the Holy Ghost had made a difference in his life. Glenton was saved in June 1978.
His first response to GOD's call on his life was "not ready" because he was young and there were things to do and places to go. He had plenty of time. After becoming stronger and willing to make sacrifices, Glenton accepted the true call. Now that the call has been answered, he sometimes feels that he can't keep up with the growing demands of the church and community. GOD told him to step out on faith.
Glenton received training under the tutelage of the late Apostle Richard Johnson, 3rd. He was licensed and ordained as a Minister of the Gospel in 1995 and appointed to the office of Pastoral Assistant in 1999. In addition to attending the Annapolis School of Christian Discipleship, he graduated from the Neighborhood Leadership Academy of Anne Arundel County in 1999.
Upon the homegoing of Apostle Richard Johnson, 3rd, Reverend Queen was appointed to serve as the Interim Pastor. He currently serves as Assistant Pastor, Director of the Deaconry Ministry," and Sunday Adult Bible Study Instructor.
Reverend Queen knows that GOD has more work for him to do.
"Now faith is the substance of things hoped for, the evidence of things not seen..."
